Edgar Arceneaux (b. 1972 Los Angeles) received a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasedena, California, in 1996 and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, in 2001. He also studied at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine and at Fachhochschule Aachen in Germany. Selected solo exhibitions include Lentos Kunstmuseum, Museum of Contemporary Art in Linz, Austria, The Kitchen in New York and ArtBasel Miami Beach with Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects. Selected group exhibitions include MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House in Los Angeles, Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects in Los Angeles, and KünstlerInnen in Berlin. He is currently represented by Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects in Los Angeles. Edgar Arceneaux currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
